“We took 2 teenagers to Rome for a day trip, in the heat of August it made sense to take a bus tour as we were limited on time. This tour gave us the option of hopping on and off at the main attractions (some others in the same price bracket didn't allow you to get off). “The Big Bus is a decent way to get a high-level view of Rome, and for a winter trip (Jan/Feb), there’s no need to book in advance—they won't sell out, and you’ll likely save money buying on the day. We found that a half-day or full-day was more than enough time. Operations were generally fine, though we did have to swap seats on one bus to find a radio jack that actually worked. However, my main gripe is the app. It is abysmally designed; you can’t even see a simple list of all the stops. We had to cross-reference the app with Google and Apple Maps just to figure out…”

“Alessia was very responsive and corrected a problem that occurred. If you want to see the Terme Taurine ruins, you must get off at the 11:00 stop, and then back on at the 12:00. It closes at 12:30. Christina on the bus spoke English and was very kind. Not too many exciting stops, but a nice ride around to see the town.”
